Today marked a significant turning point in my recovery journey. I finally plucked up the courage to attend the Anxiety Support Circle this morning. Walking into that digital space felt daunting at first, but the warm welcomes and the soft, non-judgmental atmosphere immediately put my nerves at ease.

Sharing my story with others who truly understand the weight of a racing heart was incredibly cathartic. As we spoke about our shared experiences, I felt a physical sensation of lightness—like a heavy blanket was slowly being lifted from my shoulders. There is such profound power in collective vulnerability.

We practiced a guided breathing exercise toward the end of the session. Focusing on the rhythmic rise and fall of my chest while surrounded by supportive energy made it feel different than when I practice alone. I left the Circle feeling hopeful and deeply connected to a community I didn’t know I needed.

I want to carry this feeling throughout the rest of my week. I’m learning that it’s okay to not have all the answers, as long as I keep showing up for myself and for those around me. Today was a good day.
